By accessing or using the Tika EQ Pty Ltd (“Tika EQ”, “we”, “our”, “us”) website (“Website”) or participating in Tika EQ-led programs, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website.

Tika EQ may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides general information about Tika EQ’s work in equity, cultural governance, and place-based engagement. All Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional, legal, or cultural advice.

3. Respect for Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP)

Tika EQ acknowledges and respects the custodianship of Indigenous Peoples over their cultural knowledge, expressions, stories, languages, and materials (“ICIP”).

By using this Website, you agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with any ICIP represented;
  • Not reproduce, share, or use ICIP without the express consent of the relevant Indigenous Peoples, Traditional Owners, or Custodians;
  • Honour the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) and local cultural protocols.

Tika EQ commits to representing ICIP ethically and in accordance with community governance and consent.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Website content, including text, graphics, photographs, videos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Tika EQ.

You may:

  • View or download content for personal, non-commercial use only;
  • Not modify, reproduce, or distribute materials without prior written permission.

5. RestRIcted Access Areas

Some sections of the Tika EQ Website may be accessible only to authorised users, such as clients, partners, or community reference groups, through a secure online portal. Use of these restricted areas is governed by separate access and confidentiality terms communicated directly to authorised participants.

By participating in a Tika EQ-led community consultation, you consent to the collection and use of shared information for the purposes agreed at the time of engagement.

Any ICIP shared will only be used, represented, or stored with appropriate consent and in accordance with cultural protocols.

We acknowledge the emotional and cultural labour that can be involved in community participation and are committed to ethical, trauma-informed and inclusive practice.
